What Coast said. Anyone who thought Anet was actually going to bring back the XTH must not have learned this lesson from how Anet handles everything else. It was a foregone conclusion that this would happen when they took it down for over a month to begin with.

Yeehaw another title to grind, that was sarcasm people, I am neither happy nor unhappy with the retirement of the XTH but here you and/or Anet can see a way to reduce the repetitive and/or non-entertaining gameplay for people that do not play PvP.

Why that suggestion? Well PvE players only have 2 daily quests in order to get the Zaishen title maxed, doeing those quests over and over again with other characters is boring as hell. Personally, that's also the reason I hardly do any of the Zaishen Quests.

Ow some people wanna suggest farming so I could buy Z-Keys? Same problem, to boring. And with the upcoming nerfs I think people will find it even harder to get "stuff".

PvP? Again, same problem, to repetitive. I've never liked PvP in any RPG for longer then... maybe 2 years, games I like that offer better "PvP" are games like Mortal Kombat, CoD, etc... In RPG's i've always found that there is to much elitism. And with the interrupt bots, afk bots, etc... it is just not fun.

People saying that the Zaishen Title track is a PvP title are wrong, it is both a PvE and PvP title.

This was not about XTH but about the title that came with it.

And yes too bad for all those players who bought more accounts just to reduce grind in order to max the Zaishen Title Track faster, lucky I still use my small number of accounts for other things like storage, wich is actually the main reason I bought them for, XTH was just a bonus.

My memory is hazy, but in the beginning, didn't you have to register a character name as well? Could be a *gasp* Security risk.

I was actually thinking the same thing this morning. They denied hackers were getting in through the PlayNC master account glitch until all the Aion guys who were raped came over to gw forums to say how it was being done. I would not be surprised if this was another security risk that they decided to just take down quietly and use the excuse that they could not program a simple database easily. Hopefully all traces of the database are gone.

Gw1 looks like all the other games in the final stages of its life cycle: unsupported, not fun (nerf all the popular farming builds), and soon to be botted exponentially with these new sophisticated bots injected into the .dll files. Hopefully, they reduce the z-rank title by a factor of 10 or 100 so that the profit motive for the bots is at least gone by reducing demand. Oh, I forgot, that would take programming support, which they do not have anymore. Duh...

Ill informed and incorrect. I got all (95%+) my keys from pvp and have been into FoW and UW maybe under 20 times in the 4+ years Ive played. also at least 1, probably more of Rawr maxxed the title, but I guess they are pvers with no life too.... ^.^

Yeah... Idk what left there will be to do in GW... All the bots are gunna take the fun out of any of the farms that there are left... Heck... Even PvP is getting botted... Guild wars is corrupt! for the umpteenth time... And ya. A lot of my friends have recently had accounts hacked (At least 5 accounts of 4 friends that i know of) I am sad for them but I'm just glad it didn't happen to me... And i don't want it to happen so i would really hope they deal with that.

it's not like most PvEers watched the mATs as intended, they just asked other people who to put or just randomly guessed. I'm just glad they realized this, because the amount of free rps was a little ridiculous.

I would say that GW without XTH is a more balanced experience but not a better one.

Getting the trp's and turning them into z keys or whatever was fun. Plain and simple. I
only got to participate 1 time before XTH um... broke. So, at least give us May's points.

Not because it will make a world of difference but because Regina said definitively that we will get them and when I contacted support they said definitively that I would get them.

Sometimes A-Net tells us things they plan to do or would like to do in the future. Those things can change, that's understandable. Distributing May's points was/is not one of those things. The XTH breaking and you deciding not to fix it is negative enough, don't make it worse by giving trp's to some players and not others.
